TrayTrace is an iOS app for tracking aligner wear time, tray progress, reminders, widgets, and local backups. This policy explains what information the app uses and how that information is handled.
Information TrayTrace stores
TrayTrace stores the data you enter in the app, including:
- aligner plan details such as tray count, tray duration, and treatment start date
- wear tracking records such as removal sessions and daily progress
- settings you choose for reminders, widgets, onboarding, and backups
Where data is stored
TrayTrace stores your app data locally on your device. TrayTrace does not require an account and does not upload your personal tracking data to a developer-operated server.
Notifications, widgets, and Live Activities
If you enable reminders, TrayTrace uses local notification permissions to show reminder alerts on your device. Widgets and Live Activities use your local app data to display current wear progress and plan status on-device.
Backups and exported files
TrayTrace supports local backup export and import. Backup files are created only when you choose to export them and are stored in the location you select. If you import a backup, TrayTrace reads the file you choose from your device or cloud file provider.
Analytics and tracking
TrayTrace does not use third-party analytics SDKs, advertising SDKs, or cross-app tracking for the current release.
Data sharing
TrayTrace does not sell your personal information. TrayTrace does not share your app data with third parties except when you explicitly choose to export a backup file through Apple system share or file picker flows.
Children's privacy
TrayTrace is a general-purpose health routine tracking tool and is not directed to children under 13.
Changes to this policy
This privacy policy may be updated as the app evolves. Material updates will be reflected on this page with a revised effective date.
